About

Community & Connection

I am inspired by those pursuing their dreams; the artisans, craftspeople, makers, bakers, creators, dreamers, doers. I find myself in awe of the diverse skill and talent that abounds. I am enthralled by the stories behind the products we love, sometimes passed down through generations, families, or beginning with individuals forging their own path and pursuing their dreams. Each product tells a story that is asking to be shared; a story that builds community and connection.

The products selected for our gift boxes are a small assortment of some of our favourite products, but by no means an exhaustive list of the incredible talent that exists on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. As we grow and expand, our offerings will too and that means including even more wonderful products!

Choosing Local

By shopping small and local, you are choosing to support individuals who choose to pursue their dreams. Vancouver Island and the surrounding Gulf Islands are an incredible melting pot of talent, innovation, ideas, creativity, vibrancy and uniqueness. What a bounty in our own backyard! By choosing to purchase locally made products, you are contributing to a stronger, more resilient economy, reducing environmental impact, supporting individuals who are choosing to forge their own paths and follow their passions and you will find something spectacular you won't find anywhere else.

What's In A Box?

Nestled within each gift box, beyond the tangible products and packaging, exists something else that cannot be seen; a connection. Bringing joy to someone you care about, seeing a smile on the face of someone you love, or the unexpected delight that comes with a thoughtful gesture, fills one's heart with warmth and joy.

Thoughtful, heartfelt and intentional - each of our gift boxes is created, put together and delivered with care and love with the goal of passing it along to each recipient. Like a warm hug in a box!
